All in a Day's Work- for Voice, Marimba and Double Bass
I wrote this song after an emotional roller coaster of a day—joy with friends in the morning followed by hours of self-doubt and critical self-talk. I was finally able to deflate the mental harassment and claim peace late in the afternoon. As I went to bed, I realized how quickly I had been able to return to center compared with days-long slumps of years ago. It was definitely worth writing a song about. I enjoy the triumph, the beat, and the rhythm in this song.
